If you have another question just add it on to your original thread please don't open a new thread. This one will probably be combined with your other one as soon as a moderator comes along. You don't have to have an attorney to file for divorce they are just really helpful especially if your husband has one because the general rule is that if one party has a lawyer and the other dosen't then party with the lawyer will win. You can shop around for attorneys the same as anything else to find different prices. However, if you absolutely can't afford one you can even go to staples and pick up a big packet on filling your own divorces it costs a whole lot less than an attorney but is more expensive than some people would expect.
