Recently, I heard something on the radio about how the Virginia Department of Health is encouraging people to call the police should they see an adult male with a child.
This is disgusting, blatant persecution, and little does Virginia know, you are also persecuting the CHILD.
If a dad and his daughter are walking down the street, and several cops stop them and question the father, you are SCARING the child, and likely traumatizing the child as well. This is sick, Virgina. Why don't you just admit you don't want children anywhere near any man?
My question: Can this be construed as harassment by the police should a father be questioned multiple times?
I beleive the reporting of possible sexual abuse is the best thing, we have keep it in the "closet" for way to long and there are alot of children with various adults that just don't look right.
Next this is not asking cops to stop a father with his child on the street, this is a scare tatic that I guess child molestors want you and I to beleive so people will not report real situations that look unhealthy.

Unless you have a different add from that one, it is not saying that, period.
Yes it shows a most likely male hand, ( I know some girls ??) and a child, but it does not say this is wrong, we don't see the rest of the scene, it only lets you image
So unless there was some official statement or some other statement beyond what I read in the links ( and blogs have no value they are merely some persons opinion) to official state sites that show this was what they intended.
It really sounds like a PR add that is being attacked by some side or the other, about what I would expect to hear on Rush Linbaugh or Air America. If you listen to those radio shows you would think the government is about to do everything.
And police don't report to Dept of Health and there has to be a reasonable suspision for them to even stop and question someone.
Ok. I'll dig deeper and get the specific words from the department of health. I can't imagine that a radio talk show would lie and say that something is true when it isn't. Here in the midwest, you'd be yanked off air instantly if you did something like that. Give me a moment...

It is not a bad idea this Rebecca Odor to see it and to send posters "Stop female sexual offenders!"
But real child abuse must not be missed and false allegations must not be condoned.
