    Reversing an Adoption Lawyers

I found this site, there is general information on your question,at the very least it may give you a little more information.

However, please understand that there are lots of web sites and I can't say if this is credited.

    Just general information.

I am sorry that you are going through this and that your children are sad. There is most likely more to this story and that's OK, you don't have to share. I just want to ask you to think thoroughly about what you are doing and what got you in this situation in the first place. There is a reason why they were adopted and removed from your home. If those things haven't changed and your children are better where they are, it will be important for you to be honest with them and yourself. Best wishes to you and your children.

I'm thinking there is a LOT more to this story.

Children are seldom taken away from their natural parents and actually get to the point of adoption without (usually) a VERY good reason. And to have a formal, LEGAL adoption go through with involuntary termination that still allows visits by biological parents is VERY rare.

If you voluntarily signed away rights--you would have to prove coersion to get your children back.

I'm wondering if you have your legal terms mixed up here--have your children been adopted? If so, were your rights severed voluntarily or involuntarily? How is it that you have visitation with your children? Are they in foster care, rather than adopted? Or do you just have an open adoption?

We need the WHOLE story to give you an answer that will actually help you.

Edit: PS--this is moved to Family Law because you are asking a LEGAL question--how to get your children back.

These aren't puppies or kittens to be given away and then taken back.

Looking forward to the answers to Synnen's questions.

And these posts should be combined - I can't even figure out who the father of the children is. This boyfriend? Another boyfriend? Apparently OP can't decide whether to stay with boyfriend or move on... yet she/they want the children back? https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/relati...ml#post2131254
