Child support

I was married for about 2 years divorced in 1999 and I have a 11 year boy. My ex pays 350 a month and is remarried and another child. He seems to think he can sign his rights over to get out of paying for child support and he thinks that if my son doesn't want to go over there that he doesn't have to pay I have tried to tell him no matter what he has to still take care of him regardless. I need help getting him to realize this HELP ME?

Tell him to call down to the court house or child support office in his area...they will tell him.

First off, he can't just reliquish his rights unless you are in agreement with it.
Even then, he would still be responsible for child support until the child was adopted by a step-father to take his place.

You really don't need to do anything to make him realize it....the child support is coming straight out his paychecks right? There is nothing he can do to stop it...so I would just sit back and laugh
