There are several threads that already discuss this issue. There is no such thing as Child Abandonment in your case. Child Abandonement refers to leaving a child alone without anyone to care for them. That's not your situation.

You aren't clear on what help you need. Do you need financial help because he isn't paying support? If so, your local Family Services agency can help you get public assistance while they go after him for support. Have you visited them?

But abandonment gets you NOTHING. You can use abandonment as grounds for getting his rights terminated, but what good does that do you?

First, WHO told you this, because it makes no sense. It would also help if you typed in complete sentences with appropriate punctuation as its hard to understand what you are saying.

Who has no fiunds now? What about alimony and spousal support? those are awarded as part of a divorced agreement. Have you been to court to file for divorce?

No! Have not filed for a divorce not planing on it, so you mean to tell me i cant get any of those unless i divorce that boy? the assistance said they have no funds available to help me pay my rent and utilities, they have you call around to different places to see if you can get help, and there was no help for me, he has not tried contacting me to support his child nor pay the debt he left owing, what is it i can do? if you dont mind

Ok, now this starts to make a little sense. You can use abandonment as grounds for a DIVORCE, but not for child abandonment. But if you aren't planning on divorcing him, that doesn't leave you with a whole lot of options.

Well sir he left me, i didn't ask him to leave , so i should not be the one to file for a divorce its against my belief to do that. One day we came home he was gone with all his stuff and never heard from him again. Can you please give me the options i have to do in-order to keep my home and support my child? He also left owing me $300, a down payment on his car i have the note he wrote and signed promised to pay but he didnt'.

I don't think you are getting this. Yes, he left you, abandoned his family. Unfortunately it happens everyday. You need to go to court and file for child support. If he's working, they should be able to find him and garnish his wages. If you don't beleive in divorcing him, them there isn't a whole lot more you can do except go out and get a job to support yourself and your family.

Scott is right. You really don't have many options because you can't file for alimony while still divorced and even child support isn't ordered very often if the couple is still married it is worth a shot though. As for his car if it is only in his name I would let them repo it or voluntarily turn it in so that is one less bill you have. You can also apply for food stamps but they will want a lot of info but if you get approved that will help you by allowing you and your child to eat while you try to pay other bills. You also have the option to move or if worse comes to worse go to a shelter for a bit, they have couselors there that can also assist you but even they need more to go on than just "he left and I have bills to pay".
