    Been kicked out
I have been living in my partners house for 2 years 5months after selling my property and getting rid of all my furniture! I live with him with my 2 Children, one 17 who's now living with my parents and the other 12 who is with me. We are currently homeless living with friends as my partner kicked me and my daughter out of the house. My name is not on the house deeds! Am I entitled to anything in settlement from him?
    Thanks
    Sarah

You can sue him for illegal eviction. You clearly established residency in the home. Therefore he would have had to go through a formal eviction process to get you out of the home.

However, if he just told you to leave and you packed up your belongings and left, then you may not have a case. If he locked you out or physically removed you, then you do.

Other than that, since you were not on the deed and never married, you have very little rights.

How long ago did this happen? What were the actual circumstances of your leaving?

Ok, so this one confuses me. If you are under 18, and your parent(s) kick you out, and you leave because they don't want you in their house, do they have the right to call you in as a run-a-way juvinile? And if they do, what happens if you tell them that you were kicked out and have witnesses?
