Can I make the man listed as my father on my birth certificate do DNA test? I am 51 and want to know who my father is.

If you can get a court to order it. But that may be a stretch. Unless there is a health issue, I doubt if a court will go along.

You have to have a legal reason to request it, just "wanting to know" is not enough.

But from a legal standpoint, he is your father, the man listed on the birth certificate is the father and in most places an not be challenged after a number of years.

Why do you suspect he is not ?
