im looking for all the answers i can get! i filed for a restraining order on my daughters father and aggravated harassment charges on him because one night we were on the phone with the speaker on and we were yelling back in forth well i thought he said he was going to kill me and an ex friend of mine agreed that he had said that so i pressed charges on him my friend got mad at me and said he never said it that he said that since swine was going around he didnt want our 6 month old daughter out and about cause that could kill her well i filed a restraining order on him and told the court everything that has happened in our whole relationship the only time he has ever hit me was when i hit him in the genitals though! we have court on the 13th and i see my lawyer tomorrow how likely is it that i can recommend family counceling and parenting classes for him i dont want to lose my daughter and he would never hurt her but i want to get the restraining order dropped to a refrain from order until he can prove to me he is willing to change how likely is this going to happen? i also want to drop the charges and just deal with all of this in family court do u think the state will pick it up? please answer!
