I have a family member recently arrested in SC and taken back to Georgia for Child Abandonment. His ex has refused to let himsee the child so therefore he would not pay his support we have emails stating for him not to call her house her son his son does not live there. In jail now for 1 month no attorney has contacted him and there is suppose to be a court appointed one no one there to get his side of it so he is just sitting there any suggestions?

actually I am sure he is in jail for not paying child support more than just the abandoment.

And i does not matter what she won't do, he has to pay child support, he can not just not pay if she will not let him visit.
What he was suppose to do is pay support and take her back to court for contempt for not letting him visit.

So help hire him an attorney, he needs one.
