The cover is very colorful - pinks and blues - in abstract. The story starts out that there is only one word in the world - Me. Whatever anyone wanted they just said 'Me.' Soon everyone is screaming Me! Me! Me!. Then something happens and the world goes dark (I can't remember what). The page is black and I remember there being a lamp post on it. Then the darkness goes away and there is a new word in the world - it is You. Then there were all kinds of words. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If I can find the title and author I might be able to find a copy even if it is out of print. I cannot for the life of me remember the title and I cant stop racking my brain:( . (this is all vague memory) It was a story about a woman who is part of a police like force, she has this sentient 'worm hole' like entity that links itself to her, the Government has the technology to create these worm holes to transport stuff, but envy what she has, also in the background to the story there is a 'Plague' that is eradicating the populace.... i think the cure ends up being cinnamon?!? any ways i remember really liking the story but cannot remember the Title or author. Ther'es this boy and he loves chocolate a lot, he wishes he could have it all the time. one day on his way 2 his friends house(i think) and he comes across this chocolate store and ther'es this guy who says all the chocolate he could ever want is in this "box" so the guy buys it, and goes home. when he goes home, he opens the box and only finds one tiny piece of chocolate, mad that he got ripped off, he still eats it and it tastes awful. then the next day when he goes to breakfast, his milk tastes like chocolate milk, and bacon tastes like chocolate candy bars. he's overjoyed that everything tastes like chocolate but after a few days he gets sick of it and tries 2 find the store but can't
