it is to my under standing that movate, hot movate and all the other movates out there are indeed unsafe, but i would like to know which one works the fastest, i would just like to apply it for about two to three weeks, and then use a safe maintainer after that like a-arbutin.

Hey guys

Ok so im still going through my lightening regime progressively but one thing ive noticed since October is that if you want your face to get lighter without having any breakouts u need to exfoliate or use a good soap.

Now ive been using Sulfar soap for my spots and amzingly it has worked but then i tried the Kojic soap which i have been using for a while and has cleared my spots and cleaned my pores, i hardly get any spot breakouts whilst im lightening. They both smell wonderful they are safe and aid in the whole lightenig regime. now im not sure if it will work 4 every one but it has for me. I make sure i wash my face twice a day before putting on my skin lightening cream. If ur un sure do some research on-line. I brought both the soaps from a Chinese Herbal shop Five *****

So my dear butterflies as they say its a: "Trial an Erro"

I am a senior citizen when it comes t skin lightening/bleaching,I have used almost everything on the market.I started bleaching in 2006 and I have gone from India Arie's color to Taraji Henson.I am going to give reviews of skin lightening creams I have used and most you can find in your local beauty supply store. This is no way an advertisement of any of these products.I am NOT a SELLER.Just trying to give some info to those who are looking for the best creams that can lighten them and also prevent them from wasting their money on the ones that don't work.I will like to post my picture in here. But I dont want to "expose" myself as a bleacher.lol.You never know who might be lurking or be a member of this forum. If you want to see my pictures inbox me and I will send them to you

Member research on Tonique Skin Care Products and Sepiwhite:

Hi All,
I've been following this product for a few weeks as I was considering making a purchase. I decided to do some research on the product's active ingredients and my findings led me to seppic, the manufacturer of all the active skin whitening ingredients that Tonique lists on their website. I called Seppic @ (973) 882-5597 and spoke with Stephanie to inquire about all of the ingredients that Tonique uses. She informed me that that combination of active ingredients didn't make sense, she also checked to see if Tonique was on Seppic's list of authorized manufacturers. She then said that she had received a phone call from someone last week inquiring about the same combination of active ingredients and when she quoted the cost of the ingredients the caller commented that it was too costly and would have to get back to her. Stephanie further explained that they sent the caller a small free sample for testing of their Sepiwhite MSH powder. At this point in our conversation Stephanie went to the Tonique website herself to review the ingredient list and truly could not make any sense of it, saying that it was "impossible and would be very harmful to any human skin for those ingredients to be used at a concentration of 10%". She then transferred me to her supervisor, he was very concerned about this and stated that the formulation listed on the Tonique site was in fact impossible and that they are not authorized to use or list Seppic's ingredients.

In conclusion, from both my own research and confirmation from the manufacturer of the active ingredients, Tonique products do not contain Sepi-white or any other ingredient from Seppic that they list on their site. Both the supervisor and the rep from Seppic whom I spoke with were extremely concerned about the mis-representation of their ingredients. There are so many products on the market today claiming to have natural active ingredients that offer risk free skin lightening formulas, we as the consumers must be vigilant in protecting ourselves especially our skin.

If you would like to verify these findings as I have, feel free to contact Seppic @ (973) 882-5597, ask for Stephanie and she will reiterate what I've shared with you.

I suggest for you to contact Seppic and verify the information. They even stated that their will be a possible legal action against Tonique for the unauthorized listing of their ingredients under guise to deceive the consumer.

Thank you for reading.

Ok so as an update... for newbies or curious. I guess I'm a bit of a lightening vet too.... but I haven't tried too many products. I had been using the Diana Stadler Papaya and licorice soaps (Papaya in the morning, licorice at night) for two years now... in order to get rid of a farmer's tan and some sun induced "Blackies" LOL (Just for that you know you weren't that dark a few years ago feeling) with great success and It faded completely in 6 months or so... (Mind you I have resistant skin color... not dark).. but I just don't even scar very much... and I've litterally scraped some places down to the white meat LOL.. and it got back even to my skin to the point you can barely tell. after this experience. I grew an interest in skin lightening.. I guess it's like tatoos... it's addictive.. and due to certain social changes in my life.. and weird imposed cultural ignorances, I decided lightening may improve my situation a bit (if any of you catch my drift)...

... Alpha arbutin homemade cream at 7% and then 12% for about 6 months, to a year... and avoided getting any darker but no lightening so I can only assume that this is my natural skin tone without sun influnece or hormoneal stuff etc.... (cause I also had a bit of melasma from Birth control pills.)

I recently about 2 months ago upped my Alpha rbutin cream percentage to 15%... and for a month I've had some Hey I'm light days, then some.. oh gosh... what happened? days and my face broke out like I look like a teenager... LOL anyone say puberty face?... ... SO I upped it 1 month ago to 20% and have incorporated some retin a 0.1%... about a tube and a half in 12 oz of cream... and apply it straight on my face to remove the acne...

After some moderate peeling of my face and redness.. OH MY GOD... my face is darker and red, but pretty much everything looks the same... besides my face.. which is darker and red and peeling :( and my body has not had any peeling... nor darkening, but no lightening either... I am going to add more retin A to my cream cause I'm one of those people that needs to feel it to know it's working.. so we'll see...

Forgot to mention, I'm still always using the Papaya and licorice soaps...

But I have decideed to give HQ 4% with retin A a try... I don't think it will lighten me significantly, from what I've read..... (Thanks all for all the other posts and info, but at least I know it will make a difference.. maybe combined with the other things I'm using it will be better but I will try and keep you all posted...

For the record, I am looking to lighten rather slowly because I really don't want the shock factor from family and such... I come from a family where this is a NO NO, and the light people tan to look browner... and get curly perms to be more ethnic... guess everyone wants what they don't have... LOL

So since I'm statring from my natural color, I consider this now square one... and if it works well I will definitely post up recipes, and instructions for you all...

So I received my 55h+ with glycerin last week. I found it to be a little oily and it left my skin feeling a little sticky when it dried. Is it supposed to be like this?
