I have this oil painting signed Heywood Hardy, dated underneath the signature - it's dimensions are 8x10 inches - it appears to be canvas attached to some type of white, glossy backing support - about 1/4 inch thick. There is a definite 3-dimensional aspect to the surface ( can feel by touch). When viewed under a magnifying glass, I don't see any uniform dot pattern (this was a method described on Antiques Roadshow to determine a reproduction painting). Brush marks are visible. I would like to know the title of the work and if it is indeed an original oil painting - or some type of reproduction. If you know how it was reproduced (the process), I would like to know that as well. Thanks.

The signature in lower right hand corner and appears to start with a W and last name appears to be Norct possibly. A friend looked at it said it is identical to Van Gough except for the colors. It is approximate size of28 x 34 in wood frame.
