I was with my ex boyfriend for almost 4 years, in 2008 we went shopping together and he took a fancy to something in one of the shops. in total tit cos £129.00 but there was a deal to pay £10 that day and pay nothing until april 2009.As he had a poor credit score hea asked me to open it in my name and by April he would have a job and would be able to pay it off in full. Stupidly I agreed and opened it in my name.

Then comes April 2009, we split up. He still said he would pay it but I kept getting letter after letter saying the balance was still outstanding. I was a single mum with hardly any money so I could not pay it. He was working so he could easily afford it nut he kept making excuses and putting it off. Then, come september 09 I received a letter form them saying the debt had now mounted to over £400.00 but If I paid it off within a week I could have a bulk taken off. So I phoned up and paid £325.00 of my own money that I had been saving for ages for christmas! To this day he still hasn't paid me back, is there anything I can do?

I have the credit agreement from the shop and a friend of ours was there and heard him promiss he would pay it himself and of course he is getting full use of the item!!

How do I get the subpoena delivered correctly? To whom? The Office of Comptroller of the Currency has no info on the bank—not even their address. They only thing they have is it is under their osposis.

I heard to send to registered agent and there needs to be one in my state, however my state say they have no idea what I am talking about. And I got the loan from a car dealer while sitting in my state, and the car dealer is in my state. In addition my neighbors mortgage was sold to same organization. Why would my state not have who to send subpoena to? How do I find out who to send to?

The bank has no office/branches in my state

I wanted to know should I pursue a getting a judgement overturned.

I do owe the money, but now that I see the Law Firm have performed Fraud in getting a judgement against me, im relunctant to pay and am looking to getting the judgement reversed.

The backstory is I owe money to a department store over $5000.00. I had a permanent accident that sidelined me for 3 years. Im still disabled from the accident, but could not work and had intentions on paying all debts owed, which Im currently doing with all other companies.

Now fast forward to today. Im back on my feet, and decided to get my bills in order. I check my credit report and see the negatives, but unexpectedly noticed a judgement. Now im saying to myself I dont recall ever being served, so this is impossible.

Well fast forward to today, i go to the court building to get the dockets court findings, decisions and verdict.

It seems the court was relunctant to award the Law Firm their judgement to default on the lawsuit and award them since I didnt appear in court. Well upon reading the transcript I noticed they reissued a new claim, and said they served me on a Sunday morning at 10am.

Well, thats impossible, I was bedridden for over 3 years. And all of a sudden the judge awarded them the default judgement because i wasnt present and the new evidence. The summary even says the judge saiid they were making different allegation that differed from their 1st allegations. Not only did they lie and say a women name Amy served me, I believe the date was over a year of the SOL.

I read online that if I can show I wasnt given due process, I might be able to get the judge to overturn it.

Now im not against paying the debt if I have too. I just dont like the way it was done. And also, I would have like the opportunity to defend myself in court.

And not to mention the overall fact that the judge denied their suit in the beginning, and he came with fraudulent documents that says I was served.

SHould I pursue this in court?
