window boxes

I would love to fill my window boxes for the winter season. It would have to be something artificial because it's so cold where I live. Any ideas anyone?

Silk plants can look very real. Not sure how they would do outside in the snow though?
I'm in Long Beach CA so I don't have any experience. Type? Depends on what looks good to you. The roses can look very real. The grape leaves are a fav of mine. Source to purchase from? In CA we have 2 hobby/craft type chains.
Stats and Michaels. Don't know if these are only in CA or if they are national chains?
Both of these stores have other "things" that might fill your needs besides silk plants.
Do a google search. There are some high quality online stores for silk plants. Also do a search for craft supplies for other ideas.

Thanks for the reply! I have access to Michaels but I have to drive like three hrs to get there. Should be going there in the next few weeks or so and I'll check to see what they got then.. Silk would get a beaten where I live in the Winter but I was looking for something on the green side.
