hor far do I take this.

I work in the retail industry that is nation wide. I discovered some fishy transactions by a invoice sent to my store to fulfill a delivery. With a little research on my end the dollar amount is over 1500.00$. I brought the information to my supervisor and he contacted the supervisor of fishy transactions. So do I leave at that? Or do I report to hotline?? It burns me up to think that even though it was reported the other supervisor could let it go to save himself.
