Hello model:

There's a lot of stuff that's required, but first and foremost are connections with casting directors and clothing designers. That would require that you have some experience in the industry.

If you have NONE, the first thing I would do is get some. That's because if you manage to gather together enough money to open your agency, if you DON'T have the connections to get your people HIRED, you're going to go out of business...

as excon said, you will need the phone numbers and be on first name basis with the people that hire the models. or do the bookings for the talent. Then lots of money to entertain those people when you present your clients to them.
