What do you think of this song?

okay so i'm currently in the middle of a talent competition and i sang halleluja. the judges told me i had great vocals but...lacked emotion

he said pull emotion from the saddest point of my life and use it for my song. so i was thinking of singing vision of love by mariah carey

. the thing is...im not exactly sure what kind of emotion or mood to put into that song. any ideas would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!! thank you in advance!

You probably already sang this song by now...A good way to see what kind of emotion to put into it is to see the emotion the original artist shows. Click on the link below to watch Mariah sing this song. Watch other videos and study them. When you sing, think about the lyrics. Dig deep and feel the lyrics. Record and watch yourself. Get feedback from friends and relatives once you have your style together.
