Can anyone solve this difficult riddle?

A friend gave me this riddle and I have been struggling with it for days and have joined just about every ask and answer site on the web in order to ask this question to see if anyone can solve this (which is why if you google the riddle, you will find all of my other threads I have started on the web today on various sites) - no one has succeeded thus far.

The riddle goes like this:

What ends begin,
surrounding surround,
a memory's on
when soon to be found.

Anyone have any ideas (And before you even say it, no the answer is not the letter 'n' - this is a popular guess) HELP! It's driving me crazy!!

Are you sure you have all the spelling and punctuation correct
It's making no sense to me.

The spelling and punctuation are correct.

And is 'nothing' a guess? Hmm, i'll try it and see what the author of the riddle says.

Yea I'm not a fan of them either, hence the massive amounts of forums I joined to try and find the answer to the riddle. In the end, my roommate solved it! It's so funny that I went to all the trouble and turns out the answer was right under my roof. My friend confirmed the answer this morning. I feel much better knowing now.
