Is this reasonable

I have a friend who is graduating with industrial engineering degree and will work for this fortune 500 firm as a Quality Engineer?

Do you think $50,000/ yr is a reasonal salary to her? She has to travel interntionally 50% of the time.

Thanks,

Does the company pay for her travel expenses?
Do they say anything about raises/promotions/benefits?
My guess is that it is probably good for starting out, even if she moves on to another company later it would look good on her resume.
