    Power consumption
I have a tenant asking what's the available watts per square foot of my building. They are looking for 6 to 7 watts per square foot. This is total available power. Does anyone know how to calculate this?
    Thanks

    Well, 200 amps single phase at 240v is 48,000 watts. 100A @ 240v is 24,000 watts.

For instance, if the space is 2000 sq/ft, and has a 100A 120/240v single phase service to it, that is 24,000 divided by 2000, which equals 12 watts per sq ft.

Thanks for the reaponse. I was using that formula but the panels are 3ph. Then using the factor 1.73 comes up the same answer.
    Thanks again
