Unable to print in Outlook Express 6

I have reviewed all the conversations on this subject but have been unable to find a fix. Can anyone help.... please. I am using XP-Pro and am on RoadRunner when using my email.
I tried both the "print" button and going to the File Menu and using the Print - neither worked. The only thing I get is a (very brief) working icon as my curser than nothing!
