I have an Outlook Express account & am trying to set up a few newsgroups.

I have the correct name from my internet provider to do the Initial Set up.
I had No problem with the Inital setup.
When I ask it to download I see what looks like of Files downloading but it stops very quickly. I even turned off my Firewall, Pop up Blocker, Virus Program.

I tried putting in the word "golf" & nothing comes up. I be damned there must be a newsgroup for golf. Here are a few examples of a few things that are downloaded:
0.Ossptest
0.verizon.flaim

Why these "0" who knows, & I noticed there are many entries that have a period somewhere in the name.

I believe the headings are downloading buy don't know how to fix.
