outlook express

Hi,
I am having problems with outlook express it says pop3 not found secure(ssl) no socket error 1101, error number ox800cccod.
I have had no trouble with it before, for last 4 days i cannot get online have no messenger or email can you help please.
will not be able to read answer as cant see emails

Which is your browser? IE or Netscape? Sometimes this error is appearing in Netscape. If you were using Netscape do the following>
In Outlook Express, click Tools, Accounts. Look for your old Netscape account. Select it and then click Remove. If you just want to disable the account, select the Account, click the Properties button and then uncheck the box that says, "Include this account when checking e-mail or synchronizing.Then it will not try to make a connection to the NETSCAPE SMTP servers.
