Outlook 2003 (XP) wont send

what the heck??? I have not changed anything in my setttings but suddenly, Outlook won't send email. At the moment the outbox is empty but it still shows "sending message 1 of 1". also when I try to configure, (under email accounts) and test settings, it shows "find outgoing email server in progress" and "send test email message failed". I can't figure it out and the folks at Netzero can't either. As a side note, I can't send from the email on the web portion of NetZero either but my fiance is able to send from yahoo mail!?! I CAN by the way, receive email!
