How to write a courtesy email to your ex-MD after joining a new company
I have just joined a new company, and I want to write a mail to my ex-Managing Director about the same. It should be a mixer of personalized and professional mail. Is it possible?

I find an email to be inappropriate in this situation - I don't know what type of business you are in, though.

It's possible to write an email about anything. What are you actually asking... if it's appropriate? Feedback on the content?

    Hi, prajiworld!

Well, what specifically is this concerning, please? What are you trying to communicate to your ex-Managing Director?

If you start a draft of the email here, I'm sure that there will be those of us willing to come along and suggest to you ways that you might make improvements to it.

    Thanks!

Without additional information, the only thing I can think of is:

    "Dear Ex-MD,

I have loved you from afar for so very long. Now that I work for another company, it is my intention to sweep you off your feet and shower you with the loving adoration only I can bestow.

Get ready, 'cause here I come...

    Sincerely,

    Ex-employee"

P.S. Are you allergic to anything?
