How do I recover lost inbox emails after I compacted OE 6?

Yesterday I clicked update when prompted to compact my email from Outlook Express 6.
I have lost all emails from my inbox from December 2007 to February 2008.

How do I recover them?

Open Outlook Express
Click on Tools->Options->Maintainance->store Folder
Copy the location

Click on start->Run->Paste

In the Pop window Copy all the .bak files
and Paste on Desktop

Create a New folder and Paste all the bak file and Rename Bak to dbx and Import it you will find all the emails
