Password

Hi,
If you lost your password, your email cannot be opened.
The chances are slim and none.
No, there isn't any such animal to find it.
Another thing to consider is to never keep important emails on a website offering free email.
At any time, they can re-program their site, causing emails to possibly be deleted. Yahoo, at some point, does this. Their clubs and groups info is sometimes affected also.
Best wishes,
fredg

hotmail

Hello,
I seriously doubt that if any expert knew how to find a password, that it would not be posted here.
It would possibly be illegal to sumit such information.

Fred,
When are you going to stop giving this misinformation? The idea that e-mails would be lost through a redisgn of the site is absolutely ridiculous. If you knew anything about how such systems are designed and updated (as an A+ certified person should) you would know stupid your statement is.

If you continue to post this misinformation, you force others to correct this garbage showing just how bad your advice is.

Most services have a limit on how many tries you can make to enter a password. So using a "war dialer" to continually enter passwords isn't going to work.

I recently heard from someone who had received a response from Hotmail about a changed password. Hotmail is investigating and if, you can prove the account is yours, they will reset the password for you. So your best bet is to contact them.

I have never heard of this. One of my sisters is married to a "tech" guy,who works for a large company, and he informs me that statement is rubbish.Email is deleated automatically after a set period of time, and I dont mean a few days,or a week, etc. If you lose your password, you can go down on your knees in the company office, but it wont help. You will have to set up another free account, and if the emails were from friends, family,or collegues, inform them of what has happened.

As far as the original question is conserned, their is no zip program to recover passwords which I know of.If there is,it is illegal and unetheical.Usually ends in tears.
