Have a Hotmail account which I wish to close. The account has been compromised and is being used by another party to send large amounts of spam. On several occasions I have attempted to close this account via , options, more options, view and edit your personal information, close your account. The account does close and bounces back emails sent from others, however after a longer period, say 24 hrs, the account opens without my intervention and starts spamming again. Please any ideas to close this account permanently.

Change the security question, alternate e-mail address and password to something random as well as doing the close account action.
That way no one will be able to reopen it.
