copy & paste photos in Outlook Express

I recently had to change from Eudora to Outlook Express as a mail program. Now,in outlook Express when I try to copy and paste any photos, I get a box with a red X in the upper right corner of the box when I send the message. Can't Outlook Express copy and paste Photos?

There's also an option to "Insert" both other documents and/or pictures. The option is at the top toolbar of OE.

Insert an Image Inline in an Email with Outlook Express

To include an image inline in a message sent from Outlook Express:

›› Step by Step Screenshot Walkthrough

* Create a new message using HTML formatting in Outlook Express.
* Put the cursor where you want to include the image in the body of your message.
* Select Insert | Picture... from the menu.
* Click Browse... to locate and select the image on your disk.
If your image is larger than some 640x640 pixels, consider shrinking it to more handy proportions.
* Click OK to insert the image.
* Select Format from the message's menu and make sure Send Pictures with Message is checked.
If Send Pictures with Message is not checked, select it.
o You can change the default setting of this menu item using Outlook Express's preferences.

If you want to type text to the right or left of the image, you can do so by changing the picture's alignment.
