Outlook 2003 Archiving

Has anyone used the "archive" utility?

As we have sold one of the companies that I worked for, what I want to do is....

1. Backup/archive my inbox to a cd.
2. Remove all inbox folders from the server. (running out of room)

How do you restore your achived items?
Will a restored .pst file overwrite any new files?

Cheers

Colin

In all the corporate environments I have been in they have disabled the archive feature. Offline .pst seems to be the way they are going.

All the mailboxes are kept on the exchange server and accessed from desktop/remote machines.
