import messages

Old Computer - Windows 2000 OE6
New Computer - Windows Vista - Microsoft Mail

I saved all of the .dbx in OE6 (Including Folders.dbx)

-I put all of the .dbx's in a new folder called Outlook Express
-Used Easy Transfer and Copied Them To A Folder On Vista
-I Ensure that the files are not read only (And there not)

-I go into Microsoft Mail And try to import the files
-I select the folder that the dbx's are in

And this error pops up "no messages can be found in this folder..."

I need a Solution

PLEASE HELP ASAP!

You can export your OE mails on a (CD, USB)

- Use the .wab file file format

After saved on CD or USB, Move to your Vista Machine

- Click the START button

- Type "Mail" in the Instant Search area
- Select "Windows Mail" from the list
- Click FILE
- Click IMPORT
- Select the appropriate item for e.g Windows Contacts
- You will be prompted to tell Windows which format you are importing e.g Select Windows Address Book File (Outlook Contacts)
- Click IMPORT
- Browse to the location of the file you wish you import.
- Follow any step-by-step instructions given to you from there
- Repeat the steps for your mail and other data
- Your data should be in Windows Mail
