Zoom Box Inquiry

Hello:

Ive been looking up info on the zoom box, as I saw advertised on G4 a few nights ago. I see target.com sells them for about $250. Its my understanding that a good projector unit cost about $1000. That said, are these zoom boxes are good buy? Or is it like they say... "you get what you pay for".

I have a large picture window, I always thought it would be cool to eliminate my TV in the living room, and just have a large window shade that I can draw and watch TV on downstairs.

Anyone ever tried one of these? If so, then what did you think? Did it have a good resolution? Was it clear and bright? Can you hook up a VCR, satillite receiver, DVD etc to it?

Just wondering. Might look into getting one after the first of the year.
