fuse or picture tube?

Ok, i was watching tv and all of a sudden the picture went out but i can still hear everything. We do not know if it is the picture tube or the fuse. Can anyone help?

I doubt that there would be a fuse that affects only the picture.
Do you get a horizontal line or anything at all video-wise?

It could be a high-voltage, a video, or a deflection problem. It's hard to say which.

all it did was go black, no picture or anything..no color. just like as if it were turned off. but the sound as still coming through just fine.
