How to program an Adt Keyfob

My ADT keyfob stopped working. A neighbor, who recently moved, gave me his keyfob. How do I program it to work on my system, which is identical to my neighbors.

What is the Manufacturer of Panel? Ademco and DSC are commonly use by them.
You will need to get into programming mode. Do you have Manual?
If monitored by ADT, they will have to program. Installer Code Important, and they possibly changed default code.

The name on the panel is ADT. The user's manual says the model is a Safewatch Pro Security System. I did find a blue programming guide in the Access Panel.

My neighbor gave me a 5800 series transmitter (keychain Keyfob remote) that I want to program to use on my ADT system. How do I program this model 5804? I found a blue programming guide in the access panel but I still need help.

Been looking around, It might be a Ademco 20P, in Disguise, From what I understand some software changes may have been made for their company. Different default code.
Can you find in Programming Guide: Entering Programming mode, and Exit Programming Mode? If you can safely do that, you can add keyfob.

Is there any Numbers, and or letters on Keyfob?
Installer Code +8 0 0 Should get you into programming.
* 9 9 to exit. There is a Power up method, don't know I can reveal legally(ethically?)
You really must understand programming, It is a little involved.
Mistakes can be devestating.
You would not want someone to enroll keyfob into your system easily.
There are many options for the button operation, manual should show options.
Could have arm, disarm, panic, and house lights, for example.
