whirlpool dryer (electric)

whirlpool dryer (electric)

I went to start my dryer and press the start button and cut the setting on forthe time and it wouldnt start..dont know if its the start button or the timer button...you can hear a noise at the timer button like it wants to start but but when the timer button is set and you press the start button the noise stops on the timer button..I need help wiht this
