Car System

I have a dual coil subwoofer. It is set up to be 2 ohm to be compatible with my 2 ohm 450 watt amp. My subwoofer is 300 watts. The amp blew all the fuses on it and the amp stopped working. I sent the amp in and I was told that the amp was fine. WHAT HAPPENED.????

If your 2 2ohm sub woofers are wired in parallel, that woud be 1 ohms, heavy load.
Measure wire resistance from speakers, look for a short.
