I recently purchased a new Sony dvd/vcr combo without a tuner (obviously). My old Phillips model just eats all tapes. I desperately need the vcr aspect, because I tape a ton of stuff, and I don't have digital cable. I just have a cable line that I currently hook into the Phillips model. I've seen brief mentions here and there, but is there a way to use my old vcr as a tuner for the new Sony model, since I don't have a digital tuner or cable box? And if there is, exactly what are all the connections? What gets hooked into the old vcr, the new vcr, and the tv? I used to think I was pretty good at figuring these kinds of things out until this incident. Please help!!!
