Hello

Hello and welcome,

Generally, when something of that high technology breaks or dies, it is just time to get a new one. The price that you will pay to get it fixed will most likely cost too much, so you might as well just buy a new one... or save up to get the PS3.

But if you really want to get it fixed, places like RadioShack will send it out for repair, or if you go on www.sony.com and lookup the playstation site, I'm sure you can find PS2 dealers and repair centers somewhere near your area.

Thanks and I hope that helps,
Zach

do-it-yourself

I would suggest trying to fix it yourself, you can buy any of the damaged components.

If your kid needs it right now and you got the extra cash, buy another. You can always fix the old one and use it in another room.
