how do I connect my tv,receiver,dvd, direct tv with hdmi cables.? Step by Step Please.

the only thing you connect witht he HDMI would be your direct tv box to your tv. the direct tv's box should have a fiberoptic port and your receiver should have a fiberoptic port. the dvd, depending on what kind it is, should either connect with RCA cables to the TV. if it is an upconvert to HD it should have either component cable ports or and HDMI port. but the tv has the have two HDMI ports for you to connect both the dvd player and the Direct tv. if not use component cables. and again fiberoptics to receiver.
