Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to buy a mini portable digital recorder to use in a large lecture theater, I need it to record form a distance with very high sound quality?
Can you kindly advice me which model is the best? Thank you very much.

There are a lot of variables here (your definition of very high sound quality, background noise in the hall, type of material being presented (voice vs music), etc.) I have an older Olympus recorder that works pretty well, but I wouldn't call it very high sound quality.

I would recommend going to Amazon or sites like it to see what users have to say about specific models in similar environments.
