I need for my home theater set up a HDMI to DVI cable. When trying to select a item online or in the next store I found price differences up to 12.5X for exactly the same type of cable ($12.68 in comparison to $159 in Amazon). This is an extreme example but applies more or less to all kind of cables.
I understand brand and physical quality issues, but in a digital world is no change or loss of signals. Is this price difference really technically justified and what should I take for a HD TV to save some bucks?
