    Wiring pool pump motor
I have a new pool pump motor. When I disconnected the old motor, I found it was wired with two blue wires and a green ground. The new motor has only L1 and L2 connections.
How do I tell the difference? The pump was wired as a 220

The 2 blue wires go to Line 1 and Line 2, the green should connect to green screw.

Smust be careful with 2 speed they will burn up in a flash IF WIRED WRONG, OK THE WIRES FROM THE BREAKER (THIN BREAKER IS 115 V-THICK BREAKER IS 220) GO TO YOUR TIMER MOTOR (2 SMALL WHITE WIRES) MOST CASES,THE OTHER 2 AND A GROUND GO TO THE PUMP MOTOR. BY TAKING OFF THE BACK COVER OF THE MOTOR YOU WILL FIND 3 SCREWS, ONE WILL BE ON THE FRAME OT MOTOR(NORMALLY GREEN IN COLOR) THE OTHERS WILL BE NEXT TO EACH OTHER, THERE IS NO POLARITY (NO + OR -) SO THEY CAN GET HOOKED UP EITHER WAY
