wireless remote power control

I would lke to be able to operate a water pump remotely. The pump is rated at 1hp and operates on 110v. I can find remote units but they specify a 1/3 hp limit. Can anyone tell me where I can find the desired unit?
thanks,
bob

You might have to use a relay.

Thanks

I am not familiar with using a relay or hooking one up.
I guess I need to contact an electrician

A relay is a switch that lets you use a smaller amount of current to control a larger one. They are really very easy to hook up.
