    What does it mean when you reset a circuit breaker won
    I came home from work and my pool pumpm was off, I turned the switch to off and went to reset the breaker and it will not reset could the breaker be bad?

    Could be defective, or it could be tripping off as soon as it is reset.

    To determine if it is defective, shut it off, test the output to be sure it is off, remove the wires, and turn it back on, and test for voltage.
