    Trane xr80 vent blockage
    We are having a blizzard here right now, and after troubleshooting, and seeing a continuous fast blinking code, I think the snow must best blocking our roof vent. Is this a common problem, or should I look farther?

    If you have a blocked vent(s) there is only one thing to do and you know what that is. It happens. It is much more common on systems that aren't installed correctly than on well done ones.

My Trane XR80 furnace is only blowing cold air. The diagnostic light is bllinking 6 times which, I think, means the 115 volt polarity is reversed. Is this something I can fix or do I need a repairman?
