    Knob & Tube wiring
    How do u tell which is the Hot on K&T
    How do u tell which is the neutral on K&T

    You need to find a ground, usually a metal water line works. You need to use a long wire for one test lead of your voltage tester to use the ground as return/reference. Use the other lead of a voltage tester to find the hot wire, the remaining is the neutral.
