    Hampton bay ceiling fan wiring
    I am installing a light kit on a hampton bay ceiling fan. The fan was initially installed without a light kit and the blue wire was never connected to anything in the ceiling. Which ceiling wire does the blue "light kit" wire connect to? My choices are: WHITE, BLACK, or RED... There is nothing currently connected to the RED. Thanks in advance for your help...

    I would try red.
