    Wiring instructions
    My house is prewired for ceiling fans. My instructions only talk about the black, white and green (ground) wiring. I have a red wire. Not sure if I leave it alone or attach to black or white and then continue with installation.

    Do you have two switches on the wall in each room or just one?

    How many wires do the fans have? Are they remote fans?
