    Sure providing you have a larger service entrance conduit, wire ,meter etc.

    Sure but the service wire coming into your house from the street is probably only rated for 200 amps. So you'd need to replace your service with something bigger than 200.

    Or... add a new service and panel. Do you REALLY need more than 200 amps? What's going on?

    What do you mean? If you mean can the sum of all the breakers in the panel exceed 200 amps? Then yes. You can have say, 300 amps worth of breakers because it's unlikely you will have a full load on all circuits at the same time.

    Adding the sum of the ratings of circuit breakers in any panel is meaningless and irrelevant.

    Performing the appropriate load calculation listed in Article 220 of the NEC is the only method of calculating a service size.

    I agree, but I think that is what the OP is doing. He needs to do a load calc.
