LOL! Actually, I think you need to brush up on the code and are taking it out of context. Go figure, eh? I'm okay with what I am doing. I'm just here looking for a vanity with receptacle.
...

Yes, I do know how codes are written... interested parties write the code, and then it is promulgated.
I disagree... it is safe (see code below)... a GFCI breaker is acceptable. Installing a...

I just know who writes the codes... and they are NOT independent from the industry. The industry writes the codes, then lobbies for their approval. Whose interest does that represent?
Anyway,...

Anyway, if I install a GFCI breaker at the box on that circuit, I am fine and it is to code. My question still remains; I am looking for a vanity with a receptacle.
And of course you can die...

<<The right thing to do would be to have a dedicated 20A circuit run to a new GFI receptacle in your bathroom.>>
Yes, I know that. But I'm not looking to adhere to code and paying an electrician...

I need to replace my bathroom vanity lighting with one that has an electrical outlet since I do not have one in my small bathroom. Do you know a place where I can be able to find one?
I want the...

I am in the process of getting some new pre-hung fiberglass doors. I was told (by my brother) that I can’t use storm doors with fiberglass (or metal) doors. It turns into a greenhouse, and stuff...

I was thinking of installing an exterior doorway awning for my back door. (I'd like to use the screen door even when the weather is inclement).
So how do these bolt on awnings attach to the...

I was reading the specifications for some fans, and it stated it requires standard base fan bulbs.
Are "standard base fan bulbs" medium base, or are they Candelabra bulbs?
Thanks,
Brian

I should have paid more attention in Statistics and Probability in college … but then again, I’m so old … I’d have forgotten by now anyway.
So here are my problems.
Event A = 8% chance...

Normal voltage. Actually, when I bought the house, they upgraded the current/box to bring in more lines.

After purchasing and then installing three (3) of those new fluorescent bulbs to replace some of my incandescent bulbs, I have some questions.
1. I hear a low volume “humming” in 2 of the 3...

How about cutting a shoot and getting it to root. Do you think that is possible? I've heard you can do that with certain plants... maybe this is one of them?
Brian

... sort of.
I have an overgrown appletree in my yard that did produce apples.
However, it was so large and unmanageable, it was cut down, and the stump is about 1-2" above the ground surface....

Okay, then let's extend this further... to a simple lamp.
The fact that there is a lamp pluged in, yet not turned on... it is drawing power?
-
Okay, I can accept that now... but what is the technical hurdle that keeps the manufacturer from developing a charger that doesn't draw power when the phone is not connected?
-
There I was, reading the newspaper, which was talking about how to save electricity and help stop global warming.
The National Society of Whatever said I should unplug my cell phone charger when...

Are you certain they make them for Dimmers? I went to Loews and up they had not a single light that was usable with a dimmer.
I don't think they exist... anyone else see any?
Thanks,
Brian

Thanks again for all your inputs.
The one thing I noticed is that a 13W flour = 800 Illums = 60W
But a 60 W incan = 850 Illums

Thanks for the quick answer... especially the part about the dimming... I do have a dimmer in the house... what's the deal with them? They have to be special bulbs for dimming?
-
I’m sure this has been asked … but I am looking at these 13Watt replacement bulbs that are 60 Watt replacements.
Now, I have light fixtures in my house, which are all labeled with Use 60 Watt...
